Ron's interpretation of the Bear Clan sacred tablet. It appears to be marked with corn stalks in the center around which are grouped several animals. The snakes are thought to symbolize the two rivers that would mark the boundaries of the people's land, the Colorado and the Rio Grande rivers. The four men on the edges might signify religious leaders as they hold and claim the land for their people. The original of this carving was found near Hope Mesa, AZ. Approx. size 24" x 24" x1/4".
The commissioned pieces come ready to hang on the wall with just a picture hook. They can also be inset in anything from plaster walls, drywall, stonework or hung on the wall just like a fine painting. The hand carved, commissioned pieces are accompanied by leather and silver accents to enhance the hanging hardware and create an elegant family heirloom.
The large panel pieces are available in a variety of sizes from 18" x 18" up to 4 foot x 4 foot. The cost is determined by the size of the piece and the intricacy of the design.
